  • Very often, medical science and legal documents intertwine. A do-not-resuscitate order is one of those intersections. Florida has very strict rules about do-not-resuscitate orders. A DNO may not be signed in advance, but only at the time of crisis. A physician signs the DNO, not you. It must be on canary yellow paper to be valid.
